"Camelot"
Wed., June 14, 2023
Cost: $172 Per Person
**Book now! Pay by check
before 2/14/23 - $167 per person
"Camelot" (1960), book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, music by Frederick Loewe, based on the novel The Once and Future King
by T. H. White. "Don't let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment, that was known as Camelot."
With these unforgettable words, King Arthur instills in a young boy the hopes and ideals of a once enchanted kingdom, where he himself had promoted justice and civility over battle and greed. These dreams are shattered when Queen Guinevere falls in love with Arthur's most trusted knight, Lancelot. Lerner and Loewe's score includes "The Simple Joys of Maidenhood," "I Loved You Once in Silence," "If Ever I Would Leave You," and of course, "Camelot." Join Taylor Tours on this musical and theatrical journey and its promise, albeit for maybe only that shining moment, of a better world. Show is performed at the Ohio Light Opera, College of Wooster, Wooster, OH. A delicious buffet meal is included at Das Dutch Kitchen
before the afternoon show. You'll enjoy all of your Amish favorites with a selection of soup, salad bar, 3 meats, all the side dishes plus dessert. This tour has been an annual shopping event for our customers since 1996! The 2022 show featured more than 450 vendors, making it the largest in its history. Now in its 38th year, the Christmas Connection is a place to find that perfect holiday gift and experience the magic of the season. It's a festive marketplace where you can shop for holiday gifts, see works from local artisans, experience holiday displays that will inspire your own decorations, and much more! Your day is sure to be transformed into a bustling shopping experience as you browse everything from crafts, specialty foods, soaps, ornaments, wood creations, jewelry and much more. Enjoy holiday entertainment from local choirs and bands, and at lunch time you can satisfy your hunger by visiting the food pavilion and vendors. Show is at the newly renovated I-X Center in Cleveland. Includes round trip deluxe motorcoach transportation and show admission.
